The billing rate is also automatically entered when an activity is selected in a timesheet. A default billing rate can be kept for each activity but this default billing rate can be overwritten when an activity is linked to a project. For example, an activity can usually be billed $50 per time unit but when it is linked to a specific project, the billing rate can become $60 per time unit.
