OroTimesheet 5 > Projects/Sub-projects, Budgets and Distribution

Various information for each project you create can be entered in OroTimesheet. Each project is automatically linked to a customer and each project can contains an unlimited number of sub-projects.

A budget (in time, costs and billing) can be entered for each project or sub-project as the case may be. So, as timesheets are entered into the software, you know in real time, the time spent, costs and billing of your project versus the budget you entered. Note also that the budget entered can be distributed per employee, activity or type of expense. For example, you could budget 100 hours for the project "A" then distribute this 100 hours between employees affected to this project.

To limit the selection to specific projects on timesheets, employees or groups can be linked to each project. Also, one or several project managers can be specified for each project.

Activities can also be linked to each project to limit the list of selectable activities when entering timesheets for a specific project or to indicate a different billing rate when an activity is performed on a specific project.

A list of categories of project can also be defined in the software to categorize projects according to your needs.
