OroTimesheet is very flexible for calculating
costs and billing
and adapts easily, according to your needs.
The "Cost rules" option allows you to modify the default cost by
time unit
of an
employee
when certain conditions are met. For example, an employee can usually have a cost by time unit of $25,
but when this employee performs an activity on a specific project, his cost by time unit can become $30.
The "Billing rules" option allows you to modify the default billing rate by time unit of an
activity
when certain conditions are met. For example, an activity can usually have a billing rate of $50
per time unit, but when it is linked to a specific
project,
this billing rate can become $60.
Cost rules or billing rules can be very general or very specific according to your needs. Also, there
is no limit as to the number of rules you can define in the software.
