The Punch clock software for OroTimeshet 5 is a complementary software to OroTimesheet (licenses sold separately) and allows you to install (or replace) an electronic punch clock for your factory. The OroTimesheet 5 software and the Punch clock for OroTimesheet 5 software are two different software working together using two different time entry principles.

Indeed, the punch clock software for OroTimesheet 5 is dedicated to be used in a factory whereas the OroTimesheet software is dedicated to be used by office employees. For example, your employees that work in the office could enter their time from their pcs using OroTimesheet 5 while employees that work in your factory could enter their time from the punch clock software for OroTimesheet 5 that could installed on a computer with a touch screen.

The punch clock software can be configured in several ways. The simplest way is that each employee just have to enter their PIN (Personal Identification Number) (optional) when they punch. However, if you want, you could force them to select a project (or enter a job number) and even select an activity each time then punch in.

The punch clock software can run in stand-alone mode as well as in multi-user mode. For example, you could install the punch clock software on several computers in your factory. So, your employees could punch in and out from any computer and all data would be always saved in the same centralized database.
