Punch in and out with OroTimesheet.

The Punch clock software for OroTimesheet is a complementary software to our project time tracking and timesheet management software and allows you to install (or replace) an electronic punch clock for your factory.

The Punch clock software is usually installed on a computer in your factory or shop and employees punch in and punch out from this computer. As for our time tracking software (OroTimesheet), it is simply used to maintain the list of your employees, jobs (projects) and activities, convert punch clock transactions into timesheets, print reports and more.

The punch clock software can be configured in several ways. The simplest way is that each employee just have to enter their PIN (Personal Identification Number) when they punch. However, if you want, you could force them to select a project (or enter a job number) and even select an activity each time they punch in.

The punch clock software can run in stand-alone mode as well as in multi-user mode. For example, you could install the punch clock software on several computers in your factory. So, your employees could punch in and out from any computer and all data would be always saved in the same centralized database.

Please, note that the punch clock software was specifically developed to be used with a touch screen monitor. However, if you don't have touch screen monitor, the punch clock software works as well with a normal monitor and a mouse.

The punch clock software is included in the OroTimesheet installation kit. It is part of our timesheet software package. To evaluate the punch clock software, simply download and install OroTimesheet and while installing OroTimesheet, check the box Install also the Punch clock software on this computer to indicate to the installation program to install the punch clock software on your computer.
