| The information in this article applies to : NewWayService 4.x (English) NewWayService 4.x (French) Description This problem can occur after having uninstalled NewWayService version 3. Solution To correct it, you must manually unregister and re-register some dll files using the following instructions:
1- Open an MS-DOS session. 2- Go to the C:\Program Files\OroLogic\Shared Files folder using the following commands: C: CD "\Program Files\OroLogic\Shared Files" 3- Then, enter the following command to unregister the file emsmtp.dll: REGSVR32.EXE /U EMSMTP.DLL 4- Then, enter the following command to unregister the file emmsg.dll: REGSVR32.EXE /U EMMSG.DLL 5- Then, enter the following command to unregister the file emssl.dll: REGSVR32.EXE /U EMSSL.DLL 6- Then, enter the following command to re-register the file emsmtp.dll: REGSVR32.EXE EMSMTP.DLL 7- Then, enter the following command to re-register the file emmsg.dll: REGSVR32.EXE EMMSG.DLL 8- Then, enter the following command to re-register the file emssl.dll: REGSVR32.EXE EMSSL.DLL 9- Then, enter the follwing command to quit the MS-DOS session: EXIT 10- Run back NewWayService 4 and you should be able to send your work order by e-mail. If the problem persists, download, uncompress and run the following utility. This utility will verify Windows registries and will try to fix the problem for you: http://downloads.orologic.com/util/FixEMDLL.ZIP Status Information
