When I try to start OroTimesheet 5, I get the following error message:
Unable to complete network request to host "MyServer".
Failed to locate host machine.
Undefined service gds_db/tcp.

Description
It can happen that when installing some specific software such as "MSN Messenger 7.5" from Microsoft that these software change some registry entries about the TCP/IP configuration of your computer. So, it can cause problems with other software such as Firebird 1.5, used by OroTimesheet 5.
Solution
1- Run the Windows REGEDIT utility.
2- Go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
If the key named DataBasePath is of type REG_SZ, it is probably what cause the problem. In that case, continue steps below to change the type of this key. If the key is of type REG_EXPAND_SZ then, in that case, stop here and do not continue steps below since it is probably not what it is causing the problem.
3- Rename the key DataBasePath to DataBasePath-OLD
4- Create a new key of type Expandable String Value then name this new key DataBasePath
5- Copy the content of value of the key DataBasePath-OLD in the new key DataBasePath.
6- Quit the REGEDIT utility then reboot your pc. It should fix the problem.
